Supporting the community
Sara has worked extensively in service to the SEND community, in retirement homes, hospices and Schools. Music is a magical way to increase self esteem, bring people together, improve communication and connection with each other and our thoughts and emotions. From one-to-one musical support sessions and group sessions for people with SEND called 'Singing with Sara' all the way to songwriting or learning an instrument or just a plain old singalong afternoon, musical activities can have an enormous impact on wellbeing and development. Instrumental lessons
Sara teaches Ukulele, Guitar, Piano, drums, music theory and songwriting at a range of levels from beginner up to improvers level. This includes one-to-one sessions at her home in Southampton, ukulele groups with instruments provided and a weekly 'Uke N Learn' session locally and on Zoom for beginners and improvers.
Ukulele Parties!
Sara has got two suitcases full of ukuleles and she's not afraid to use them! Whatever your theme, whatever your event and whatever the weather, there is a ukulele party for you. Sara will get everyone playing and singing in no time and you will have an absolute ball. Perfect for Hen dos, Birthday Parties and social groups in any setting.
Themed Performances
Perhaps you've hired a Tikki bar but need some ukulele tunes to go with it, or maybe you've got a pop up Gin stall and are looking for some cabaret? Sara has even hosted a cowboy themed Ukulele Party for the staff of Extracare Charitable Trust as part of her tour of their retirement homes and villages. Whatever your idea, please run it by us and we'll sprinkle some of Sara's sunshine all over it!
